Ahhhh, spring is in the air. Some have already gotten their hands dirty, while others have wet their pants. The spring equinox, the day with an equal amount of sunlight and night, passed on March 21st. I have noticed that my mood, too, has brightened. I've got more "spring" in my step and I've not felt "under the weather". We talk a lot about the elements; e.g. sun, moon, sky and about weather; rain, snow and sleet, etc.. I have put together some pictures to help you visualize some of our common weather metaphors. Maybe you can figure out some of these figurative English metaphors.
