Blue language is a euphemism, or another way of saying, profanity, i.e. cussing, cursing, or using bad words. We teach children not to say bad words, but a lot of us seem to learn that it helps to relieve stress, or to quickly turn a stranger into a drinking buddy. It can also turn people off. Some people do find cussing offensive or the result of a weak vocabulary. Okay, different strokes for different folks; just remember sprinkling your vocabulary with profanity is a little like adding hot sauce: it’s to taste, not to drink.
