We all have to manage and live with change. As an American in a time of instant celebrity and jiffy pop culture, things change quickly. The language of change will help us build bridges and stabilize our futures in a business world full of volatility. When you read this we will have a new President of the United States. What will be the impact of the choice we made with our vote. Did we vote our hearts or our fears? We, the world, will continue to shift on its axis. Business will continue to grind on. We have survived being cavemen and “women”, avoided being eaten, only to now consume ourselves . This is our modern catch-22. A catch-22 is a paradoxical situation from which an individual cannot escape because of contradictory rules. Reference to Joseph Heller’s satirical book, "Catch 22". According to the novel, during WW2 people who were crazy were not obliged to fly missions, but anyone who applied to stop flying was showing a rational concern for his safety and was, therefore, sane and had to fly.
