Working with infinitives and gerunds is one of the biggest challenges to learning English. You must simply look at a list of which verbs take a gerund, or the infinitive form, or both. You can learn how to use gerunds and infinitives with verbs with practice. Be the boss of your learning and manage it. Plan to learn ten verbs with their gerund or infinitive form and practice for a week. Hang yourself a list by the mirror in the bathroom. We’ll also look at U.S. management through the ages. Maybe you’ve had one of these bosses. Or maybe you’ve heard of them and thought they were only a myth. Here are the answer to the your turn exercise: 1. fail to, 2. hope to, 3. put off going, 4. prepared to, 5. feel like going, 6. imagine making, 7. keep on working, 8. refused to 9. keep on practicing, 10. practice putting. I hope you enjoyed this lesson and don't forget to tell all your English learning friends about Bauenglish.com.
