Music Idioms- Now that sounds more like it!

This is the time my friends in Germany are busy with their choirs and orchestras.  Germany is a great place for music.  All kinds of music.  I've listed some English sound idioms that you need to know.

   Idioms of Sound
She sang a different tune.
a. She changed her story.
b. She hummed to herself.
c. She played for the band
.
They were safe and sound.
a. They came home late.
b. They were all right.
c. They played an instrument.
She had to face the music.
a. She was tired.
b. She was in trouble.
c. She sang in front of a band.
Does that ring a bell?
a. Do you recognize it.
b. Do you smell it.
c. Do you play that instrument.
That is music to my ears.
a. Sounds like jazz.
b. Sounds off.
c. Sounds good.
His complaint fell on deaf ears.
a. Noone heard what he said.
b. Noone was at home.
c. Noone listened to what he said.
I don't mean to sound like a broken record.
a. If I've said it once, I've said it twice.
