You might have heard, life isn't a picnic or as the Germans say, "life isn't a pony park" That is my rough translation.  Is there a way to make work, work for you?  Well, it works if you work it -as any AA sponsor knows.  What is in the kool-aide?  A positive attitude and a can-do spirit.  You've got this.  Work your English and before long, you will be the one they will be running to get when they need someone with a can-do spirit, whose not afraid to speak up or to lead. Your English can help you build your reputation, so that you can lead a cohesive team in English.  Make your English work for you!

How to Manage Business Phrasal Verbs

There are several different types of managers; some managers simply manage, some lead, and some stand out front; alone.  Sometimes, these loners look back to see if anyone is following.  The manager was assumed to have all the answers and was incapable of mistakes.  Back then, the manager slipped into a telephone booth and changed into his Superman costume.  Now, there are no more supermen or women, no more phone booths either. I mean, s/he could change at a gas station, in the loo (toilet stall).  However, the world is suspicious of supermen/women; and a mild mannered Clara/Clark Kent, is enough of a hero to save the day (usually).  So, we talk about unlikely heroes and the phrasal verbs that help us do business with them.
